December 2007

(28/12/07) Its been almost two weeks since my last post, so you would imagine that here would be a lot to report but beside the seasons greetings I got only one email. Maggie Sutton, all round sports star and tournament celebrity has a new web site of her own on www.maggiesutton.com.

(15/12/07) Last weekend George McKie won two tournaments, but I have no further detail at the moment.

Peter Green beat Adam Simpson in a county/superleague tournament this Wednesday, I am not sure what it was called! Nick 'The Taxi' beat Scott Robertson in the first round and could well have beat Adam Simpson in the next - Nicks first superleague win must be just around the corner. Also it should be noted that Joe Stone also impressed with a fine challenge to Peter Green in the first round, Peter then went on the beat Gary Lewis in the second round before reaching the final.

Congratulations to Tina Moran as she has been rewarded for her recent B team performances by promotion to the A, Lisa Norton makes way for Tina.

There is no change to the Men's A, however Jim Byrne and Little Ted return to the B at the expense of Mark Barkshire and Deano.

(10/12/07) Here's Brandon!

John Scott has provided a Mens Superleague update.

The match report for Hampshire v Middlesex is in, go to www.DartsHome.com.

(6/12/07) Brandon Jason Keen became the latest Middlesex recruit last night at 11.50 (time not weight). Double D V has had a little boy at 9.1 lbs.  Jason, Brandon, and Vanessa are all doing well I understand.

(4/12/07) I have not got a lot of time today, so I will make it brief.

Hampshire took a hell of a beating at the weekend from an excellent Middlesex Ladies B Team. It seemed reasonable therefore for all of the other Middlesex teams to take it a little easy on the rest of the Hampshire team over the remainder of the weekend.

However I think that we took it a bit too far letting them win all the remaining matches. The final overall result was 22-14 to Hampshire. Dave Bateman will provide a full report shortly.

Most people will now know that Jason Clark hit a nine darter in Germany. Lots of people asked me if there were tickets available for his first round match of the PDC Ladbrokes.com championship, all I could say was no! The good news is that tickets are now available as another tier of seating has been made available. Follow the link.
