Networked Access Control  SDL Security Limited

Access control systems that are networked provide much more than just an entry system, in the most basic system all access control door controllers are connected by network cabling to a computer that allows the system to be controlled and monitored from a single location.

Networked access control systems are much easier to control allowing you to restrict groups of users access to particular doors at specific times. For instance cleaners could be allowed access to all doors within a building between the hours of 06.00 and 09.00 on Monday mornings only, other staff members may have access between 08.00 to 18.00 hours Monday to Friday, whilst the General Manager has 24 hour access 7 days a week to all doors.

Another important benefit of networked access control is that event logs that are created as a result of a valid access events, denied access events, door held open too long events, and door forced open events.

SDL Security Limited specialise in installing and maintaining Cardax access control systems.

Cardax and the internet have made it possible to  administer, monitor, and control systems remotely from anywhere in the world on an unlimited number of sites with access control doors on them. Besides these systems we have customers who already have installed other manufacturers equipment that we are happy to maintain in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
