Video intercom systems provide the added benefit of seeing as well as hearing the visitor at the entry panel, enhancing the level of security significantly. There are a vast array of monitor handsets / video receivers, again the functionality is similar regardless of manufacturer, however reliability and cosmetic appeal often decide the selection for the customer. The systems to the right and left are manufactured by BPT.

The video receiver shown to the left is manufactured by Fermax, the one below is another BPT model, and the one to the right is manufactured by Comelit.
