It’s important to note that in 2025 BT will switch off the PSTN (copper cables to your house network). They are removing this technology from the UK infrastructure entirely, so any systems that rely on PSTN to operate will no longer be accessible remotely.
This includes technology like CCTV and burglar alarm systems.
This is not a problem for our Smart Security Systems, including the ADC WiFi cameras as they all use WiFi, and even if the WiFi fails there is still 24/7 recording embedded in the camera.
